Fiddian-Green's work is best when challenged by new environments. From the noisy streets of India, to the tropical plants of Lisbon; sounds, smells and colours along the way inject her work with vibrancy.
“Be it a ball of knitting wool, a burst of spring flowers, the sound of the sea or the physical feeling of a good hug, colour helps me communicate the fullness of each moment.”
Artist residencies around the world have allowed Fiddian-Green to make much of her work abroad, thus her practice often records the people and places she encounters.
Brazil, Mexico, India and Portugal have become key locations within her artistic development.
