'At the start of the pandemic, I moved to north Norfolk where the ancient trees captivated my attention. Fascinated by the biological communication that trees have with each other, I began research into the magic of forests. This electrified my practice and found expression in the web-like motif of my drawings.
Exposed to the elements daily, I made many of my works in the fields and woodlands, responding to the interconnected natural world, of which we are all a part. Both the human figure and trees pulse with life, breathing and growing in the ever changing air.'
